Parents & Friends Association (PFA)

INTRODUCTION

The Parents and Friends Association provides the opportunity for parents, family members, caregivers, and friends to meet, share and become part of a community that supports and encourages our students, teachers, and support staff. We organise family social activities, participate in school activities and fundraise for the benefit of our whole school community.
We love to hear from you! If you have feedback you’d like us to hear, please send an email to: hhpspfa@outlook.com
We are always extremely grateful for new members. Involvement in the PFA is super flexible! You aren’t locked in to attending every meeting or helping with every single event. You can choose to help in whatever capacity you have. For some members this may mean:
  • Helping cut up the fruit on a Friday
  • Helping out on the day of an event, but not in the planning
  • Sharing your ideas on how best to fundraise
  • Answering our call outs for help and/or donations
The options are limitless, and everyone has something that they can bring to the table!

PFA EVENTS

  •  Sausage Sizzles and Bunnings BBQ
  • Cake Stalls
  • Family Disco
  • Fundraising drives
  • Family portraits
  • Trivia Night

FUNDRAISING PURCHASES

Purchases from our Fundraising efforts have been:
  • Air-conditioning units in the Jeff Walker Hall
  • School Marquees for use at sporting events and other school events

iPAD PROGRAM

The PFA also contributes to the iPad Program.  Each child entering Grade 3 has the opportunity to purchase an iPad through the school at a reduced rate thanks to the PFA’s contribution.

NOT FOR PROFIT EVENTS

The PFA hold a Mothers Day and Fathers Day or Special Person Day Stall where children can purchase a gift.  These stalls give the students an option to purchase a small gift. There is no profit raised from these stalls.

FRESH FRUIT FRIDAYS

Friday mornings you can find the PFA cutting fruit for Fresh Fruit Fridays.
Each class will receive a platter to share.  Feel free to pop into the Art room at 9am if you can spare some time to cut some fruit and have a chat!
